The next step is to go to the area for training and take on the Mage Dummy. There are just three servers which can simultaneously host. It is possible to click once every 5 minutes to shift the camera around, however, I would recommend against AFKing. You might be wondering why the Dummies don't "die" however they will be restored to their full health following each attack. But, you will not be able to see this. Recently, I've been involved in a lot of discussions (arguments) regarding the CC's. Most people like "slayer dart" for barrows. Even top players think that slayer dart is the most effective method of barrowing. It could be more suitable for you, based on the style of play you prefer. High mage (85+), 90+ def and 80+ prayer could be also available. This means you could receive 342147219 chests for each journey. This is fantastic for you, however melee is for me more profitable. I earn more money when I don't spend cash on 100+ Slayer Dart Casts. I also am able to get more chests for each journey.
Barrowing is one of the jobs that is performed by the majority of people to earn money. They usually have lower in lvl than the typical player. In the past nine months, I've completed a number of barrows. I am able to melee as well as mage. I prefer melee. I have 3 pots and one superset. Based on the way my brothers are hitting the darts, I could do anything between 3 to 5 chests. If I'm lucky, I could get two or three chests using the slayer dart. This was tested on my own character. It may not be the case for everyone.
Another question is: why is it considered to be the most effective melee technique? I've tried barrows with BGS, a whip+defender and they all worked. Both are much more effective than the first time I tried with veracs. Due to the weak attacks and the slow speed of attack I was able to complete one journey.
